Website design across the Caribbean.

Telic is a design and development studio in Trinidad & Tobago, building websites, online stores and booking systems for businesses right across the region — and, because the work is remote, for clients anywhere. 24 sites are live right now. Build fees start at TT$1,500, and the quote is always free.

The distance question

You do not need a designer on your island. You need one in your timezone.

The usual choice for a business in Bridgetown, Kingston or Georgetown is a local one-person operation with a long queue, or an overseas agency that charges in a currency you do not earn and answers when your day is over. Neither is really about geography — they are about availability and cost.

We are remote by default, and were before it was a selling point. The whole region sits within about two hours of Trinidad, so you get answers inside your own working day, priced against a Caribbean market rather than a North American one — from a studio that already understands the customer you are selling to.

Where we work

The region, and beyond it.

  • Trinidad & Tobago

Home. Where the studio is, where most of the work lives, and the only market where we can meet you in person. Priced in TTD.

  • The Eastern Caribbean

Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent, Antigua, Dominica, St Kitts. Mostly EC-dollar markets selling to overseas visitors, where the site does the booking long before anyone arrives.

  • Jamaica, Guyana and the mainland

Larger markets with deeper business bases — Guyana especially, where firms servicing the energy sector are now being evaluated online by international counterparties.

  • The Dutch and British territories

Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Cayman, the BVI, Turks & Caicos, Bermuda. Frequently multilingual, frequently selling to a North American or European client base.

  • Anywhere else

The work is delivered remotely — a call, a written scope, a site. That works from Port of Spain and it works from anywhere with a decent connection.

Why a regional studio

Four reasons it works at a distance.

  1. One

It is remote, and it always was

Even our Trinidad clients mostly work with us over WhatsApp and a call. Nothing in the process assumes you are on the same island, so nothing changes when you are not.

  2. Two

    One timezone, near enough

The whole region sits within about two hours of Trinidad. You get replies inside your own working day rather than overnight from an agency in another hemisphere.

  3. Three

We know the market you sell into

Overseas booking traffic, diaspora customers, mobile-first local audiences, a business that has only ever had a Facebook page. Normal cases here, not edge cases we have to be taught.

  4. Four

    It launches on regional infrastructure

Sites go live on ServersRus, a Caribbean hosting platform delivered worldwide over a CDN — so being built in the region costs your overseas customers nothing in speed.

What it costs

From TT$1,500, quoted to the job.

A one-time build fee, then hosting from TT$69/month to keep it live. That is roughly US$220 upwards for a simple business presence. Clients outside Trinidad & Tobago can be quoted and invoiced in US dollars — most of the region either uses the US dollar or is pegged to it.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do you design websites for businesses outside Trinidad and Tobago?

Yes. Telic is based in Trinidad & Tobago and works with businesses across the Caribbean — Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana, the Eastern Caribbean, the Dutch and British territories — and remotely for clients anywhere in the world. The process is remote by default, so working with a client in Bridgetown or Kingston runs exactly the same as working with one in Port of Spain.

How much does website design cost in the Caribbean?

Telic builds start at TT$1,500 one-time for a simple business site, with multi-page custom designs around TT$2,000–$4,500 and online stores or booking systems from about TT$4,500 — roughly US$220 upwards. Every project is quoted individually and the quote is free.

Can you work with me if we are in different countries?

Yes, and it is how most of the work already runs. A first call to work out what the site is actually for, a written scope and a fixed fee, then the build with you seeing it come together. The whole Caribbean sits within about two hours of Trinidad, so replies land inside your working day.

What currency will I be billed in?

Build fees are quoted in Trinidad & Tobago dollars. For clients outside T&T we can quote and invoice the equivalent in US dollars — most of the region either uses the US dollar or is pegged to it, so the figure is stable either way.

Where will my website be hosted?

On ServersRus, a Caribbean hosting platform operated from Trinidad & Tobago and delivered worldwide through a CDN. Hosting and care runs from TT$249/month with us, or you can take hosting alone directly from ServersRus from TT$69/month. You own the site and the domain either way.

Do you only work in English?

Our working language is English. We can and do build sites that publish in other languages — Spanish, Dutch, French — structured properly with separate pages per language rather than a translation widget, which is what search engines actually need in order to rank each version. You would supply the translated copy.
